We open by talking with Helena Fire Department Assistant Chief Mike Chambers and Wolf Creek/Craig Chief Rocky Infanger about fire mitigation and a grant recently awarded to the community. We close with Genna Wortman-Obie, filling us in on the upcoming Comfort Food Challenge, benefiting Family Promise. 

Kevin Tenney kicks things off by filling us in on the latest and upcoming events at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds. And then we get into a great chat with Joy Novota and Jeff Radaich. Joy is with Starz on Stage, and Jeff is the front man for the Black Market Trust, which is set to visit Helena. 

There are always great events happening in our community, and today we talk about two of them. We've got the History Dinner Series continuing at the Legal Tender in Clancy, and here in Helena the annual Pheasants Forever Banquet is on tap!

Our good friend Dana Friede has taken a new job and is no longer with the United Way, having taken another job here in town ... but she's set us up well to continue our monthly chats! We talk with Jeff Buscher about the Zero to Five Initiative, and Mariah Ramirez, the Director of Community Impact, about the Point in Time Survey. 

We open with Capital High School coach Kyle Mihelish, who fills us in on a young man battling a cancer diagnosis. The Capital and Helena High communities are rallying to raise money for the family as he undergoes treatment - find out how you can help. We then finish the show chatting with Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton. 

Joe Wojton kicks things off by filling us in on the Salvation Army athletics program, which is expanding next year to include a girls basketball team. Janice Scheben closes out the week by giving us the details on an exciting event happening Saturday at the Civic Center. 

Sanjay Talwani with the Montana Department of Revenue starts us off, and we're talking taxes! There are some new tax credits available, and Sanjay has the scoop. We then finish by learning about the Montana Mediation Association ... who are they, what do they do and what services do they offer? 

Kari Gagner and Matt Jetty from Exploration Works stop by to talk about their new exhibit, opening this weekend. We also touch on all things ExWorks, including upcoming after school and summer camps. 

Krys Holmes from the Myrna Loy stops by to talk about the exciting live performances coming up at the Myrna, and the challenges they are facing in an awards season dominated by streaming services. 

We open the show talking with Hannah Stiff from the Better Business Bureau about the latest scam news. We finish the week by finding out what new services are being offered at Options Clinic, including parenting and life skills classes.
