Jenna Comstock opens the show, telling us about Vanessa Allick, a woman who gives of herself to our community regularly. Vanessa has been diagnosed with a rare illness and now has some medical bills piling up, so there's going to be a fundraiser event upcoming at the Staggering Ox to help out. Then we chat for a bit with the newest member of the KCAP news team, Stewart Davis, also the new voice of the Capital Bruins. He's a Duke fan, but he's still a good guy. 

We open with Mark Robertson, discussing the Dave Ramsey course Financial Peace University, which starts in town tonight. Rosie Ayers and Mary Lee Larison with Grandstreet Theatre’s upcoming production, "Silent Sky" close out the show. It's an incredibly well-reviewed play written by Lauren Gunderson, about the real-life work of astronomer Henrietta Leavitt. 

Mac Minard & Wagner Harmon with the Montana Outfitters and Guides Association and Big Hearts Under the Big Sky stop by to tell us about Big Hearts and the impact it continues to make for families of veterans and other families dealing with extreme illness. Liz Lodman with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks' Aquatic Invasive Species team also fills us in on the 2018 efforts to stop things like the zebra and quagga mussels from getting a foothold in our state. 

John Morford, the President of the Montana State Elks Association, shares information on just who the Elks are and what they do for our communities, and fills us in on an upcoming open house where you can find out more. David Knoepke, superintendent of streets, traffic, and fleet services with Helena Public Works, finishes us out, giving us some behind-the-curtain knowledge on the snow removal process and how it looks different in Helena this year than it has in the past. 

Executive Director of the Montana Nonprofit Association, Liz Moore, talks about the upcoming Legislative session and the MNA's webinars designed to make the ins and outs of it all a bit more accessible. Montana Wild Event Coordinator Corie Rice finishes up the show talking about a handful of events coming up this month at the center. 

Possibly the most successful conman in American history, Frank Abignale -- played by Leonardo DiCaprio in the Steven Spielberg hit Catch Me If You Can, alongside Tom Hanks -- spends some time talking about his fascinating past and fills us in on what he's up to now. He also gives some tips on how you can avoid  being scammed,

John Gatchell and Jeff Blend with TangoHelena open us up with a conversation about the origins of tango, and then fill us in on how to learn the popular dance through a series of classes set to start on Monday. Fire Chief Bob Drake and Gabby Walker with Tri-Lakes Volunteer Fire Department finish the show talking about the expansion of their medical services and just what that means for the department and the people they serve. 

Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds manager Kevin Tenney talks about the postponement of skijoring, teases the upcoming night show for the Last Chance Stampede, and lets us in on the date of an upcoming rock festival. Finishing out the show is ExplorationWorks Marketing & Visitor Services Director Kari Gagner and Exhibits Manager Matt Jetty, who fill us in on the new exhibit about to take center stage at ExWorks, which focuses on various forms of electricity. 

Dana Friede, Director of Development and Marketing of United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area, stops in to chat about upcoming events. We touch on the upcoming free tax clinics, their upcoming meet-and-greet board meeting and the annual Point in Time Survey. 

We open the show with Capital City Health Club's personal training manager, Mal McDowell, who talks with us about the New Year's attendance bump, and just what we can do to help ourselves actually keep those get-fit resolutions. We finish up with Kiki Moses, who fills us in on just what's going on at the Great Northern Carousel. The Helena landmark is offering free rides all day before shutting down for a few months in order to renovate and potentially add some new food and drink items and update some technology.
