Lindsay Brogan with the American Business Women's Association stops by to fill us in on that organization, and to ask listeners for their nominations ahead of the 2019 Salute to Women Awards Luncheon. Patricia Spencer with Lewis and Clark Library finishes out the show, letting us in on all that's happening at the library, including an upcoming presentation on how to get your book published and a suspension of fines during the partial government shutdown. 

Helena Symphony Orchestra maestro Allan Scott stops by to fill us in on the weekend's performance, which will feature one of the world's best pianists, Claire Huangci; and Lewis and Clark County Sheriff/Coroner Leo Dutton shares with us information about their move to the new building downtown, the combination of the Sheriff and Coroner offices, and the low number of DUIs over the holidays. 

Officer Eric Koeoster with the Helena Police Department stops by to share the details about the upcoming Sweetheart Passion Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Montana. Then to close out the show we chat with actors Tyler Redden and Alvero Freyre, who star in the upcoming Grandstreet Theatre production "The Book of Will," an incredible true story about a pair of William Shakespeare's friends who helped to protect and preserve the playwright's works after his death. 

Montana Attorney General Tim Fox joins us to talk about his focus during the 66th Montana Legislature, including sexual assault kit testing, strangulation and stalking laws, and a clearing-up of the state's DUI laws. Meg Crane then stops in to share with us information about a project created to make and send handmade Valentine's Day cards to those staying in and working at women's shelters across North America.

Then, in a Coffee Break first, an extra shot. Tim Fox sticks around for a third segment to continue our chat. Only available on the podcast, Fox hits on DUI laws and steps to tackle substance abuse. The Legal Tender's Cliff Meis opens up the show, filling us in on an upcoming dinner and lecture series event on Frenchwoman's Road. Murder, mystery and chicken cordon bleu ... and it all benefits the Lewis and Clark Humane Society. Lewis and Clark County Commissioner Susan Good Geise is our second guest, and she fills us in on why she's decided not to run for re-election when her term is up, shares information about how the county is working to be proactive about flooding, and talks about a move that may open thousands of acres of prime elk hunting and fishing opportunities in the near future. 

Helena Public Schools Superintendent Tyler Ream joins us to talk about school safety, gives a construction update, and gives his thoughts on some of the education-related bills that are or will be up for discussion in the Montana Legislature. In the final segment, he fields questions from Helena middle schoolers on things ranging from availability of advanced classes to a system based on learning not memorizing, to availability of field trips. 

Kelly Cresswell, the executive director of Reach Higher Montana, is joined by Jessica Hays from Boeing to chat about Helena WINS, and an event set for Wednesday night. It's designed to introduce area eighth-graders to potential careers in manufacturing. 

Rosie Ayers was in the studio earlier this week to talk about her new production, Silent Sky. But her previous show, Every Brilliant Thing, is making a comeback! It'll be hitting stages across the state for a summer tour. It's an impressive, one-woman show about chronic depression and suicide. The show talked about here has completed the run, but the summer series will be bringing it back soon.
